Accessible Transport in Shropshire
These pages and the accompanying guide were compiled as a direct result of the many requests for information about wheelchair accessible transport we have had from individuals and groups that we have met during the course of our work. We hope that by providing the information about all forms of accessible transport available for the county in one place it may prove useful to those with disabilities or impairment who do not have access to their own vehicle. Furthermore that it will not only assist people looking for an accessible holiday destination to visit Shropshire but enable local residents to expand their horizons .
It is important to note that all wheelchair users have their own individual requirements and the size of chairs may vary considerably so that prior consultation with transport providers about the suitability of each service is essential.
