The Museum is located within Armadale Castle Gardens and is owned by the Clan Donald Lands Trust. It tells the story of the Clan from medieval lordship to the present day, world wide clan.

This includes the early history of the clan and its links with Irish and Norse culture and ancestory. There are also graphic details of the hardship and deprivation suffered by clan members when emigrating to places such Canada, Australia and New Zealand following the Highland clearances and the potato famine in the late 18th and 19th centuries.

Access around this extremely interesting museum is excellent.
