The Wingate Centre is run by the independent charity ‘The Wingate Special Children’s Trust’ and offers group activity holidays for children and young adults with disabilities. The Cheshire based centre is set in three acres of private gardens in a stunning and peaceful location between the historic Market towns of Nantwich and Whitchurch.

The centre can accommodate groups of between 8 and 42 people in 23 twin bedded or triple rooms. The rooms are set over two bright and sunny self-contained floors and each group however small will be allocated their own floor.

The ground floor facilities (particularly suitable for groups with physical disabilities) have 18 beds across 9 twin rooms. Several rooms have wider doors for users of larger wheelchairs. Two rooms have electric beds with fully padded sides. There is a sluice room with washing bed and Arjo ceiling tracking, a changing bed, a bathroom with rise and fall bath and Arjo ceiling tracking, a Cos-i-mat automatic toilet system, large accessible toilets and showers, a lounge with large screen TV/DVD and games, a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster and a utility room with washer and dryer.
