BBC'S One Show promotes Adaptive Snowsports!

Added: 8 December 2010

The BBC's The One Show aired (Tuesday 7th Dec) a clip that demonstrates how people with disabilities can enjoy snowsports.

Full Story

The show visited the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead to produce their film which aired yesterday evening. The Snow Centre works in partnership with DSUK to open up snowsports to anyone who has any kind of disability. The fully qualified BASI adaptive instructors such as Nick Hatherley (as seen in the video) are very dedicated and offer both group lessons and personal one-on-one sessions to accommodate for all disabilities. There's a full range of equipment available to enable everyone to enjoy snowsports independently or with a helper. Everyone can experience snowsports on real snow!
