We first introduced you to Wetwheels back in October last year. Since then the film studies students in their last year at Winchester University have been hard at work creating them a promotional video which is now online (link below) and well worth a watch as it gives you a real insight into who they are and what they do.

Full Story

The fully accessible powerboat based at Gunwharf Quays Marina in Portsmouth operates throughout the year the Community Interest Company (a registered not-for-profit organisation) specialise in educational, sporting and recreational boating in an around their beautiful coastal waters. Using fully accessible boats they provide boating opportunities for people of all ages and of all abilities.

With trips booked for almost half of the forthcoming season already, they are gearing up for their busiest year yet. Elderly people in residential care are looking forward to trips on Wetwheels this spring courtesy of the big lottery fund, which has underwritten the cost of a number of trips. They still have space available so if you are interested get in touch with them. Skipper Keith has also identified a number of fishing dates for the coming season, for more information on this why not check out their new Sea Angling Facebook page
