Back in August 2012 we introduced you to the Makin Tracks organisation who are an independent, family run business offering inspirational overseas tours for people who are wheelchair users. (For those of you who missed that article I have included a link to it below). Debbie from the organisation has just been in touch to tell us that unusually they still have space their Holland Tour, so if you fancy taking in the tulips this Spring it’s not too late......

Full Story

The 7 night tour is the 28th April to the 5th May 2014.

You will be based in Alkmaar which has canals reminiscent of the capital, and is famed for its traditional cheese market. This small city is surrounded by a historic agricultural landscape, watched over by the ubiquitous windmills, and is situated only 7 miles from the sea, which lies beyond a dune filled nature reserve.
During the week you will also have the opportunity to explore the capital Amsterdam, and the trip also coincides with the world famous annual Bollenstreek Flower Parade, (where hundreds of thousands of flower heads decorate extravagant floats).
