Warrington

Warrington Town Hall and Park Gates
Warrington is both a large town and unitary authority area of Cheshire. It stands on the banks of the River Mersey and historically it was part of Lancashire but now lies within Cheshire.
There was a Roman settlement on the same site and it was an important crossing place on the River Mersey. The modern town lies centrally within the Manchester – Merseyside corridor adjacent to the M56 and M6 providing an excellent location for both business and pleasure.
With a good selection of parks, woodlands and gardens, Warrington also has plenty to offer those who enjoy the outdoors and could make an ideal base for visiting Chester, Liverpool and North Wales.
There is a Shopmobility scheme in Warrington operated by Warrington Disability Partnership which is available six days a week. Equipment can be picked up from three different points within the town, The Bus Interchange, Legh Street Car Park and Warrington Market. For more information please phone 01925 231941.
