Shrewsbury Park and Ride
The ramped entry to Shrewsbury Park and Ride
Park & Ride in Shrewsbury operates from three sites that can be found at Oxon Business Park, Meole Brace Retail Park and Harlescott, near Tesco’s Store. All buses have special low floor access at the front and are ideal for parents with pushchairs and people who are less mobile. Buses also have a ramp to enable access for wheelchair users. Express buses run from all sites to the town centre every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday. The first bus is at 7.30am Monday to Friday and 8am on Saturday, with the last bus departing the car parks at 6.10pm.The first bus from the town centre is at 7.40am Monday to Friday and 8.10am on Saturday, with the last bus departing the town centre at 6.30pm.The car park closes after the arrival of the last bus from the town centre at approximately 6.40pm. There is free all day parking. At the time of going to print the return bus fare is only £1.20 Accompanied children under 16 years are free and there is a lost ticket fee of £2.00.

Ludlow Park and Ride
The Park & Ride service in Ludlow is based at the new Eco Business Park and can be easily reached from all areas using the A49. All buses have special low floor access at the front and are ideal for parents with pushchairs and people who are less mobile. Buses also have a ramp to enable access for wheelchair users.
From Monday to Saturday express buses run from the Eco Park to the town centre every 15 minutes. Parking at the terminus is free and at the time of going to print the adult return bus fare is only 50 pence and 35 pence for children. This is also the new maximum fare for all those using bus service 702, which has been integrated with the Park & Ride service.
From the Car Park :- The first bus is at 7.25am with the last bus departing the car park at 5.40pm.
From the Town Centre :- The first bus is at 7.40am with the last bus departing the town centre at 5.55pm.The car park closes after the arrival of the last bus from the town centre at approximately 5.55pm.

Manoeuvering into the designated wheelchair space
As yet not all service providers within the county operate wheelchair accessible buses. At the time of going to print we have received advice that the following bus routes have accessible super low floor buses. However it is important to note that occasionally substitutions of high floor buses may be made where breakdown or routine maintenance occurs so it is recommended that passengers ring and confirm that a suitable bus is on their required route before embarking on a journey. Accessible buses are being gradually introduced on to new routes so it is worthwhile checking from time to time with the company who provide your local bus service. We will also be adding updated information to this website as we receive it.

Shropshire Bus
This is a project that plans the implementation of brand new, smaller sized, low floor, easily accessible vehicles, flexible routes serving all rural communities, guaranteed connections with other transport services and a dedicated booking service for enquiries and journey requests. Shopmobility Services
One of Shrewsbury's Shopmobility Scooters in Pride Hill

People of all ages who are having difficulty getting around are welcome and you do not have to be registered disabled to use the service.The unit is conveniently positioned for accessing all routes into the town centre, positioned within the main multi-storey car park, next to the town bus station, with a drop-off point nearby for local taxi service and Dial-a-Ride. The Railway Station is fairly close by.
Booking in advance is not essential. All Shopmobility members who are using the service are entitled to a parking concession within the Raven Meadows Car Park. You will only have to pay for the first hour of the parking charges.
There are 4 types of vehicles available to hire :- powered wheelchairs, three and four wheeled scooters, manual wheelchairs and a child's manual wheelchair (3-7 years).

Membership is free but there is a charge for hire. To use Shopmobility a short assessment test is necessary to ensure safety for the hirer and of others, and for equipment familiarisation. Car parking is available outside Shopmobility (limited spaces) and in Iceland car park opposite the centre or travel on Dial-a-Ride. Scooters and manual wheelchairs are available.

Telford
The service is situated in a demountable in Red Oak Car Park adjacent to Telford Shopping Centre (users must remain in the shopping centre and cannot access other areas such as the retail park). The service is free but users are required to produce I.D. such as a driving licence. Three and four wheeled scooters, manual and powered chairs and 1 small manual chair (suitable for a child) are available. Scooters and chairs can be delivered to the bus station by prior arrangement.
